Scottish Conservative vote up over 7% in Garscadden by-election

Scottish Conservative & Unionist Candidate Ary Jaff showed the Glasgow Conservative continue their upward rise with an increase in the vote of over 7% in the Garscadden/Scotstounhill by-election on the 6th October.

Ary, who resides in the ward, got 10.2% of the vote up from 2.6% in the 2012 election.

Ary Jaff has been selected as the Scottish Conservative & Unionist candidate for the Garscadden/Scotstounhill by-election on Thursday 6th October. This by-election was brought about following the untimely death of Councillor John Kelly.

Glasgow elects two Conservative MSPs

At the recent Scottish Parliament election, voters in the Glasgow Region elected two Conservative MSPs to Holyrood!

Therefore, we doubled the number of MSPs in the region, the number of votes for the Conservatives was 29,533 and the percentage vote was 11.9%, which is up 5.8% on the previous election in 2011.
